A wedding in France, two distinctly personal bridal looks, and a moment with her daughter she’ll never forget. Inside Danielle Estrada’s unforgettable château celebration.

Danielle Estrada and Spencer’s story began in 2020, when they met through Danielle’s sister. For the first few years, their relationship was a friendship, and it wasn’t until 2023 that they began dating.

When Spencer proposed, he chose Kauai, one of their favorite places, with his family there to share in the moment. For Danielle, it felt like the perfect setting. Family is incredibly important to both of them, making the proposal feel especially meaningful.

When it came time to choose where they would get married, Danielle and Spencer initially looked toward the South of France. Then she came across Château de Saint-Martin-du-Tertre.

“I completely fell in love,” Danielle says.

More than simply finding a beautiful setting, the couple wanted to create an unforgettable experience for their guests. The château gave them exactly what they had been searching for: a setting that felt both romantic and timeless.

Interestingly, Danielle had already chosen her first Lee Grebenau gown before they had found their wedding location. Tosca, worn with a custom bodysuit, was originally intended to be her wedding gown.

Everything shifted once the château became part of the story.

After seeing the venue, a friend sent Danielle a photo of Whisper. She was able to try the gown on locally and immediately fell in love with its voluminous ball gown silhouette for their outdoor ceremony.

“It was romantic, elegant and timeless.”

Whisper became her ceremony gown, while Tosca found its place later in the celebration for dinner. The contrast between the two looks allowed each to belong completely to its own moment.

For Danielle, Tosca also carried a very different feeling.

“It felt very me. The moment I put Tosca on I fell in love with the lace detail, the fit of the dress made me feel so feminine and confident.”

Looking back, one of the most emotional moments of the entire bridal journey happened long before the wedding day itself. Danielle vividly remembers trying on Tosca with the custom bodysuit and veil for the first time.

“It all clicked in that moment that I was going to be a bride.”

But there was another deeply personal part of the bridal process still to come.

For Danielle’s daughter, Quinn, the Lee Grebenau team created her own miniature version of Whisper, allowing mother and daughter to share the moment in matching gowns.

“There is something so special being able to share such a beautiful day with my daughter, but then for her to have something so incredibly thoughtful and special from Lee, like her own matching gown, makes me so emotional.”

Seeing Quinn in her dress for the first time became one of the memories Danielle knows she will always carry with her.

“Seeing her in her own little dress is a moment I will never forget. She absolutely loved it as well. She would look at herself in the mirror and start dancing!”

After so much imagining and planning, Danielle says it was difficult to know exactly how the wedding would feel until they were finally there.

She had placed enormous trust in their wedding planner, Oana, and says the result exceeded every expectation.

“I was honestly surprised by just how perfect every detail was.”

And once the wedding finally began, something shifted. The planning and stress that had filled the months before disappeared, leaving Danielle and Spencer free to experience the celebration they had created.

“Once the wedding started all of the stress went away and we just got to enjoy every part of it.”
