Inside LPG Bride Lee’s
Bespoke Bridal Journey

The story behind her custom wedding gown with Lee Petra Grebenau.

How did your husband propose? Share the story with us.

We were in Provence in the south of France, and he waited until the last day of our trip (we were there for a week) to propose.

We got back to the hotel after dinner, and he told me he wanted to go outside and look at the beautiful stars. And then it happened - he proposed under the stars on a beautiful March night in the south of France.

Tell us about your wedding day. What was the vision behind the celebration, and what kind of atmosphere did you want to create?

The wedding was held at a beautiful luxury, under-the-radar members' club in Herzliya, Israel. We were the first wedding to take place there. The whole design of the venue is vintage and gives off Palm Beach Country Club in the 1970s vibes, and that is exactly what I wanted to achieve in terms of design and atmosphere.

I wanted everything to stay true to the place, and for the design to only strengthen the feeling of the vintage 1970s country club aesthetic. From the vintage yellow umbrellas at the reception to the architecture of the building, everything stayed very authentic to the original venue, and we simply elevated it.

Your second wedding look was custom-designed by Lee Petra Grebenau. Tell us about the journey of creating your dream gown and bringing your vision to life.

Working with Lee Petra Grebenau was truly an exceptional experience.

Before meeting Lee, I visited many bridal designers in both Israel and New York, but nowhere's did I receive the level of service, attention, and personal care that I found with her. What made it even more special was having the opportunity to work directly with Lee herself throughout the entire process.

Our first meeting was all about defining the vision. I knew exactly what silhouette I wanted - a halter neckline with an open back - and from there, we began exchanging ideas and bringing the concept to life together. Coming from a fashion design background myself, I can be very particular about details, especially when it comes to my wedding dress. But from the very beginning, I felt that Lee completely understood my vision. She was incredibly talented, intuitive, and collaborative, making every step of the process feel effortless.

Designing a gown from scratch was such a meaningful and unforgettable experience. Seeing an idea evolve into a dress that was created specifically for me and tailored perfectly to my body was incredibly special. Looking back, I wouldn't change a single thing. Choosing Lee and creating this gown together was one of the best decisions I made, and the final result felt like the most beautiful and authentic version of myself.

Can you share a memorable moment from your wedding day?

After not seeing each other for several days before the wedding, our first look was one of the most emotional moments of our lives. We got ready at a beautiful hotel right next to the members' club where we were getting married, overlooking the sea. By the time the moment arrived, I was fully dressed in my wedding gown, with my hair and makeup done, and the excitement was almost impossible to contain. Our closest family and friends gathered to witness the moment and share it with us.

I still remember the butterflies in my stomach as I walked toward Omer, seeing him waiting for me against the backdrop of the ocean. There was something so surreal about that walk - after years together, we were finally standing there as bride and groom, ready to marry each other.

The second we saw one another, all the emotions of the day came rushing in. It felt like the world disappeared for a moment, and it was just the two of us. We both shed tears, and so did many of our family members and friends who were there with us. It was a moment filled with so much love, happiness, and anticipation, and it remains one of the most unforgettable memories of our wedding day.

What advice would you give to brides currently planning their wedding day?

My biggest piece of advice for brides is to invest as much thought into the people around you as you do into the details of the wedding itself. From my personal experience, I was very stressed throughout the year of planning. I wanted everything to be perfect and found myself worrying about every little detail.

One of the best decisions I made was hiring a planner I completely trusted and knew would handle everything professionally on the day itself. I also made sure to surround myself with family and close friends who brought incredible energy while I was getting ready. Because of that, when the wedding day finally arrived, I felt surprisingly calm, present, and genuinely able to enjoy every moment. I wasn't focused on logistics or things that could go wrong - I was simply living the experience.

Looking back, all the hard work and preparation were worth it because they gave me peace of mind on the day that mattered most. My advice is to choose a team you trust completely and surround yourself with people who make you feel happy, supported, and relaxed. That positive energy is what allows you to be fully present and create memories you'll cherish forever.
