He proposed to me on Railay Beach, right in front of a breathtaking cliff, at the exact moment the rain stopped. The entire beach was suddenly empty, quiet, and ours alone. The sky opened, the light softened, and the sunset painted everything in the most perfect colors. It felt like the whole world paused just for us.
Tell us about your wedding in Lake Como, the atmosphere, your vision, the venue, and the feeling of the day.
Our wedding at Lake Como was the result of more than six months of planning and four flights back and forth just to make sure every detail was perfect. The moment I entered the venue, I felt like I had stepped into a real palace. The hall was breathtaking, classic, regal decor in rich burgundy and gold, high ceilings, and elegant details that made every corner feel luxurious yet warm. Surrounded by the stunning gardens and the shimmering lake, the space had a grandeur that was both majestic and inviting, exactly the atmosphere I had always dreamed of for our wedding day.
The chuppah stood right on the water, bright white and overflowing with flowers more beautiful than I had imagined. It felt magical and romantic, the perfect setting for the most important moment of our day. Inside the hall, the tables were styled like an old world wine feast, with glowing candles, abundant flowers, and an atmosphere that was both grand and intimate. My friends joined me at noon to get ready, filling the morning with laughter and love, making me feel happy, light, and fully present for every moment.
You wore three custom Lee Petra Grebenau looks. How did it feel stepping into each of your wedding day looks?
Yes, I wore three dresses by Lee, the only Israeli designer who perfectly matched the high standards I had for a Lake Como wedding. Each dress was made for a specific moment: the first, princess like, for my entrance at the chuppah; the second, custom designed with sparkling details and a slightly daring touch, for the dinner and performance; and the third, a fun and playful mini, for the after party. The haute couture craftsmanship, attention to detail, and perfect tailoring made every dress feel flawless, exactly what I had imagined for each moment of the day.
Can you share a memorable moment from your wedding day?
The highlight of the wedding was cutting the cake. Behind us, fireworks lit up the sky to the sounds of ABBAs “Gimme Gimme Gimme” and the moment felt surreal and magical. Everyone danced, jumped, and laughed, completely swept up in the joy of the celebration. It was a memory we will never forget.
