How did your husband propose? Share the story with us.
We went for a family vacation in Africa, Tanzania. He arranged a dinner in the middle of the safari to watch the sunset. To be in the wild nature requires special permission, and we had to have security because of the wild animals. He arranged the most beautiful setup for a romantic dinner, and he proposed. I did not expect this, since we had been in a relationship for only 8 months, but without hesitation, I said yes.
Can you share the story of your wedding day?
The ceremony took place in Corfu town, in a beautiful park named Garden of the People, in the heart of Corfu town. We selected the date 2025.05.25. The ceremony was at 5 PM, and I even arrived 5 minutes late. Our wedding was all about “Hamsa.” The dinner and celebration took place in a beautiful olive garden, reminiscent of an amphitheatre, on the grounds of Patrik’s mother’s villa in Corfu, overlooking a stunning sea view. Everyone wore elegant pastel-colored clothing to match the surroundings, which were complemented with candles, many fairy lights on the trees, white flowers, and green fruit arrangements on the tables.
Can you describe the moment you knew you had found ‘the one’? How did you feel when you first tried it on?
The moment I put on this amazing dress with the most beautiful lace, decorated with crystals reminding me of diamonds, I knew the dress was perfect for me. The silhouette was so flattering. I left the Lee Petra Grebenau boutique and went to two other designers, but this dress was stuck in my mind. Soon after, I called to confirm that this would be the dress for my most special day.
What was the most important factor for you when choosing your wedding gown? What made you choose this particular gown from Lee Petra Grebenau?
I saw that the quality of the dress was perfect — every detail fulfilled to perfection. Also, Lee herself was so professional, kind, and elegant. She made every one of our visits very special. I am for sure coming back in the future to make another special dress for our family celebrations.
Can you share a memorable moment from your wedding day?
On the wedding day, it was supposed to rain, but suddenly the wind direction changed, and the day turned into the most beautiful one — yet very windy. All the guests were amazed; they said there was even electricity in the air. The vibrations of our day were so strong. When I walked with my father during the ceremony to meet my future husband, the moment my father passed me to Patrik and I looked at him, the wind blew off my veil. We joked that even God wanted us to get married as soon as possible.
