Alex and Ethan celebrated their nuptials in a posh wedding that took place on the bride’s grandparents’ stunning Art Deco home. The venue, with its limestone walls and lush green manicured gardens, was the perfect setting for the elegant soirée in which close friends and family gathered to celebrate the couple.
Alex wore an exclusive custom LPG gown, made in collaboration with Toronto retailer, Powder Bride. The formfitting gown is covered in hand-knotted feathers and hand beading, creating an opulent, ultra modern bridal look. Can you share your proposal story?
He proposed on New Year’s Eve day, at my grandparent’s house, where we got married, while we were playing fetch with our dog. He threw her a tennis ball and on the tennis ball it said “Will you marry me?” When I turned around he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. It was super magical and it started to snow right at that moment.
What’s your favorite memory of your wedding?
The entire night. I can’t just pick one, but being surrounded by the people we love most in the world was so special. Thank you to the LPG team for making my dreams come to life! I wish I could wear my dress every day!!
