Nadhran & Huan’s Elegant Botanical Wedding in Phuket

Nadhran and Huan tied the knot at the Rosewood, a secluded seaside luxury hotel in gorgeous Phuket, Thailand. The festivities consisted of a dreamy garden ceremony featuring the most beautiful pampas grass decorations, romantic string lights, and vibrant blooms, followed by cocktail hour, a dinner reception that included a fire dance and fireworks, and an afterparty. The next day the celebration continued on a yacht out at sea with close friends and family.

Nadhran was the epitome of elegance in the Valeria–a gown she first tried on during a NY Flagship trunk show and ultimately ordered at Singapore retailer, Truly Enamoured. Scroll down to read all about the couple’s wedding day and to view their stunning wedding album!

How did you find your wedding dress?

I first tried my Valeria dress at the LPG New York Flagship trunk show. I had tried a lot of other dresses from other designers, but they simply weren’t flattering on the body. The Valeria has a classic silhouette that emphasizes the curves, neckline, and back without showing too much.

The back detail was so elegant I just knew it encapsulated everything I ever desired in a dress, and perfectly captured my personality. I went back to Singapore and ordered the dress through the Truly Enamored studio. They really made the dress fit perfectly to my body and helped me achieve the hourglass shape I wanted.

Can you tell us about your wedding venue and theme?

Our venue was at the incredible Rosewood Phuket, on a garden facing a private beach and the Andaman Sea. We chose this location because Phuket is a midway for our families and friends, and it’s also where we started to realize we really liked each other when we were first dating. And of course, we chose Rosewood, it is the most beautiful hotel on the island. Once we saw the garden venue, we knew it had to be there. It was perfect, completely surrounded by lush tropical trees, which felt so intimate and dreamy. The theme for the wedding was romantic floral elegance. I wanted the theme to capture our personality and style, so everything was really tasteful and timeless, but still fun and not stuffy.

Favorite memories of your wedding?

My favorite memory was definitely our vows. We both hadn’t heard each other’s vows before so it was really special hearing it for the first time. Also, when he teared up (he never cries), I knew that we both really treasured the fact that we get to be together and be married. Another favorite memory was when the fireworks came on at the end of the night after dinner and the fire dance show. It was such an emotional moment and we were kissing and everyone was on such a high from the thrill and excitement of everything going on. During our first dance, we both forgot parts of the choreography, but we got all the important parts, like the lifts, and we were just having fun and not taking it too seriously! Everyone was cheering and laughing and just really enjoyed it.
