After 8 years together, Lucas proposed while on a sunset beach walk in Cabo, Mexico. It was the first time anyone had ever truly surprised me, and it was the easiest “yes” of my life.
Can you share the story of your wedding day?
Lucas and I had visited Montestigliano, the family-owned hilltop farm in Tuscany, many years ago together. We had always said that if we got married someday we would bring our closest people there with us, and so we did! We rented out the entire property & hamlet of villas (family-owned since the 1700s) for our wedding guests, which is immersed in the classic rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. We held all of our wedding events there, including: a Sunday evening welcome BBQ, a women’s challah bake honoring the bride, a welcome pizza party, the wedding, and an after-party that went until 6am. Our wedding date: June 20, 2024.
Can you describe the moment you knew you had found ‘the one’ gown? How did you feel when you first tried it on?
I had tried on many gowns, and almost purchased a gown many times. I had stumbled upon a picture of the Amour gown online and decided I needed to try it on to see it for myself. The moment I stepped into the dress, I knew. As weird as it sounds, you do know when a gown is meant to be yours….I had never felt more beautiful in my life. I immediately called my maid of honor & mom and told them that they needed to come because I had found my wedding dress.
