Whimsical Romance: Natalie and Marc’s Perfect Italian Celebration

How did your husband propose? Share the story with us.

He proposed at the Hamyard Hotel in London where we went on our first date and he also asked me to be his girlfriend. I was told I had a meeting at the hotel. Then I enter the what I thought was the conference room but was actually a suite covered with flowers and a violinist. (My boss was in on it helping coordinate the whole thing)

Can you share the story of your wedding day?

Our wedding was on the 3rd of June 2024. I wanted it to feel like an enchanted whimsical garden- super feminine and romantic. We got married in Villa Miani located in central Rome.

Can you describe the moment you knew you had found ‘the one’ gown? How did you feel when you first tried it on?

Before we decided on the venue we decided on the dress haha. We went to a few other dress shops which I liked but this one felt different. My mum and my dad came with me which is untraditional but I’m a daddy’s girl so It felt right to have him there for the experience. When we found the one (Emilia dress) he started crying and we all just knew it was the one without saying it. I couldn’t stop smiling and I felt like a princess. It was perfect. I felt like it was designed especially for me and matched my theme entirely. The Emilia dress is so elegant, romantic and youthful. The flowers were so magical to look at it looked like it was growing on me! My theme was an enchanted Italian flower garden so the dress embodied my personality and wedding perfectly.

How did you first hear about Lee Petra Grebenau?

Instagram! I saved so many of the dresses online.

What was the most important factor for you when choosing your wedding gown? What made you choose this particular gown from Lee Petra Grebenau?

Of course the dresses are super beautiful and amazing. I wanted something girly and youthful. Very flattering too. But the second biggest factor is that the people are SO lovely. I met the team of talented seamstresses and stylist and even Lee herself. They were all so kind helpful and patient! It made the experience so amazing and I truly felt like a princess. It was sad saying goodbye when picking up my dress. (Plus they also allowed me to alter any changes I wanted.)

Can you share a memorable moment from your wedding day??

Going down the aisle of course was so magical and exceeded all my expectations. But I also LOVED getting ready. We had the best glam squad and we were singing and chatting the whole time. Really enjoying the moment with my mum and sister.
